Fragmented window

Window of notary’s office (Dordrecht, Netherlands)

Many of the old houses in the historic centre of my hometown have been restored very tastefully. As the maintenance is rather expensive, a lot of them have been converted into offices.

One of them is a notary’s office which has a tiny square in front and looks out on the marina. Above you see the small window placed in the dark grey door. In it are reflected two other historic houses at the other side of the square and an ‘old’ streetlamp. No need to say that this is one of my favourite spots.

Have a look at Monday Window for more pictures around this theme.
