We are lucky to have a very interesting project just a few kilometers from our home. A former water tower and its engine room have been turned into a sustainable restaurant cum hotel called Villa Augustus.
They serve delicious food prepared with the ingredients that are grown in the kitchen garden between the two buildings. It is fun strolling around and have your tea surrounded by flowers, herbs and vegetables.
Yesterday I went there for my part in the Garden Challenge for July: The edible garden. The lettuce plot attracted my attention because of the artistic arrangement of the colours. Just not sure what that tiny weed is doing in the middle. Anyway, hope you enjoy the photo.
