White chair

Nearly all the bigger Dutch cities have an area reserved for mobile homes that never go anywhere. In theory the inhabitants are people who do not want to live in stone houses, as they like to wander. In practice they stay put.

A few hundred meters from our home there is such a trailer camp. One family has installed a landing stage, not to moor boats but to serve as a fishing place. Usually you see anglers with a light folding stool, but as this one is fishing in his own garden, he got himself a fancy white chair.

A simple shot of an everyday scene for Mundane Monday. Discover the beauty of ordinary things visiting this page.
