In our garden we have a wonderful old pear tree that delights us every spring with its frail white blossoms and every September with its delicious pears.
This year too it flowered profusely and we were constantly looking at it from our sitting room. Moreover when I was working in the garden, I heard the nice humming sound of dozens of bees, so hopefully it will be a good pear year.
Then the weather forecast announced storm, hail and rain, and I quickly got outside to take some pictures of the blossom before they would disappear in the blink of an eye. Just in time too to post some more photos for the April Garden Challenge.
