This photo is the result of one of those idle moments when I sit fooling around with my camera. This time we had some coffee in a bar in Balaguer (La Noguera, Catalonia), and my husband went to settle the bill and chat with the bar keeper.
Balaguer is an historic town and has a big central square with arcades along its four sides filled with little shops and bars. Every Saturday you can feast your eyes on delicious food on the lively market, one of the oldest of Catalonia. Stallholders as well as their clients come into this bar for a drink and a bite, so it was full of atmosphere and cheerful chatter. Just the place to sit and look around and enjoy the moment.
My entry for Ludwig’s Monday Window.
