Moss and hail

IMG_1875

Till now the winter of 2016 has been rather mild which means that we had a lot of rain, no snow, just the occasional shower of hail.

Hail storms can be fierce, but they also leave that nice white layer on the earth and the shed. You have to be quick, though, if you want to register it with your camera, because the sunrays can make the hail disappear in a couple of minutes.

This photo shows the roof of our shed and the old pear tree with its promising buds.
